Hint Hint

I woke up this morning with the mindset of scrubbing my house for the weekend and prepping for Christmas. Since today is the last day of school for my kids (Christmas break), I wanted everything to be ready so we could enjoy time together. We have baking that needs to be done, songs that need to be sung, presents that need to be wrapped and a lot more fun things planned. I told you I love Christmas. Well, if you are a mom, you know that if the house is clean then you can definitely enjoy your time more. I will have to admit that I have had a couple of rough days and really needed a break, but we all know that is not the way it works.  So I wake up,  get the kids off to their last day of school and come home to get started on all my work.  I was not even home for 20 minutes when I was interrupted by a phone call.  I was delighted to hear Andrea from the Murrieta Day Spa on the other end. This is the "REAL" most wonderful place on earth. She proceeded to tell me that Cris(my hubby) had just phoned in and wanted to surprise me with an 80 minute massage.  He had me an appointment, and had them call to tell me to get up there! I was stoked! This was the best news I had heard in a few days and perfect timing.  Best of all, I'd not even prominently displayed by 'hint hint" card, which I was going to set out a day or two before Christmas.  Of course my cleaning plans had to change immediately! So I am off the enjoy a full 80 minutes of relaxation. It doesn't get any better than this.  I guess my cleaning will have to start tomorrow and I will even get the kids to join in! I will have to find a way to make this fun for them (yah, right).  Thanks Cris to getting my weekend off to a great start. You're the best"00".
